Our terms & conditions
The plain-English terms that apply to every place at Mini Morgans. If anything is unclear, just ask. We're happy to talk it through.
Fees & payment
Fees are paid monthly in advance. You are not charged for Bank Holidays or for the week we are closed at Christmas. Fees are calculated on a 51-week year, divided into 12 equal monthly instalments (excluding any Bank Holidays that fall on a day your child normally attends).
Payment can be made by electronic bank transfer, debit/credit card, Direct Debit, childcare vouchers and tax-free childcare accounts.
Fees are due on the 1st of the month. If paid late, a fee of £10 plus 5% of the balance may be applied.
Fees remain payable if a child is absent from their sessions due to illness or holiday.
Rates & changes
The daily rates agreed at registration are subject to change. Although the Nursery will try to avoid doing so, it retains the right to increase rates to cover increases in the Nursery's costs. If you registered with a price freeze guarantee (not available to new customers), this extends for as long as your sessions are unchanged; different or additional sessions are charged at the current rates at that time, if available.
Funded hours & extras
For funded hours, all the extras we offer in addition to the funded childcare cost £1.50 per funded hour. This covers all food, consumables (nappies, wipes, suncream etc.), external session providers (tennis, sports, drama, dance etc.), trips out (bus trips, zoo, theatre trips etc.) and parent workshops (behaviour management, supporting your child's early reading, raising boys).
Formula milk is only provided for children up to 12 months. Parents wishing their children to have formula milk past 12 months must provide it for use at the nursery.
Registration & notice
A non-refundable registration fee of £75.00 is required to secure a place; registration fees for additional siblings are £37.50. Fee exemptions apply for children doing only funded hours.
One month's written notice, or one month's fee in lieu, is required to reduce attendance or terminate the contract.
Sessions, drop-off & pick-up
Children can be dropped off any time after the start of the session and picked up any time before the end. Where parents are unavoidably detained at pick-up, a £10 admin fee is charged, plus £1 per minute for every minute late.
Extra one-off sessions can be booked in addition to normal sessions; the cost is normally added to the next monthly bill, though payment can also be made in advance if preferred.
Although the nursery will try to accommodate requests for one-off or permanent extra sessions, it will not always be possible due to space and staff-to-child ratio restrictions.
Closures
Our planned closures include Bank Holidays and the Christmas closure week.
Once a year, the nursery will close at 4:00pm for graduation. The nursery will also close for one staff training day each year. Parents will be given advance notice of these dates.

The website currently lists policies updated since the management takeover in August 2018; additional policies will be added as they are updated, and copies of any policy not listed can be provided on request.
